You’ve certainly captured that worried look Paul. I like the way they are sitting and cradling the comforting cuppa!

A very strange year indeed, Paul, and one we will all be glad to see the back of. I like your painting as it portrays a view of many homes across the country, as we watched the daily briefings, and hoped for the best, but it always got worse. The expression on your mother's face is wonderful, very expressive.

Another great painting Paul, and I think we all recognise those expressions of trepidation and worry as we have watched the briefings with our loved ones over the months.

Very effective painting of these strange and difficult times.

Excellent capture of 'the moment' Paul

Thanks to everyone for the supportive comments.

Super painting Paul... I love their expressions.

This very strange year (2020) has thrown so much at us as it has for everyone else. We were 'trapped' in New Zealand for a while and, on our return self isolated for 14 days before retrieving my mother from residential care, that a further two weeks of isolation. But, with mum at home the isolation really extended to about 10 weeks before she returned home. During this time we would gather to drink tea and watch the daily briefings with gathering alarm, worry, anger and incredulity.
