Mangawhai is on the Coramandal Peninsula, New Zealand. My wife and I spent 5 weeks in that beautiful country at the beginning of 2013; I took my painting kit but we moved around so frequently and there was so much to see, the kit never came out of the bag and this painting had to wait until we returned home.
