Many thanks for the kind comments Kim; praise, when justified is great and i'm happy to receive it but some constructive criticism would also be of advantage. Perhaps I will wait a few days before posting again ... maybe?

You posted 6...the maximum is four (4) which means that you spoil the system for others. Remove at least two and perhaps viewers will be sympathetic to commenting on your works, otherwise you're wasting your time!

In 2012 I completed a series of watercolour paintings taken from photo's I took at Bradgate Park, Leicestershire, of the folly on the top of the hill known as 'Old John' and of the nearby war memorial. I wanted to use colour to emphasise the drama and rugged nature (about the only such spot in Leicestershire) of the park with its ancient rock outcrops, stunning views and wind swept moorland. And to attempt an approach of another favourite artist - Nigel Priddey RBSA.
