A few few years ago we took a holiday in Sri Lanka. One of the hotels we stayed at had stone bowls filled with water and flower heads lining the staircases up to the restaurant. Fantastic colours; beautiful images. I finished this piece last week - until now, I'd not felt sufficiently confident about being able to produce a deep enough tone in the dark areas.
