Thank you so very much for your comments, it certainly wasn't expected. Even though I've been painting since a very young age I have only ever done this as a hobby, my full time job is simply reading water meters! Val - your correct it does take a very long time to finish a painting, probably around 40 plus hours per piece. As mentioned my main brush size is a size 000 sable, however I do use a 2" hake for the backgrounds, you know how quickly it dries!

Great set of dog portraits. I especially like this one - beautifully done coat and a great expression on the face.

Commissioned work. Arches Aquarelle Paper Block 12"x9" Hot Pressed. What I loved about this one was the colours in Allies fur and skin, it was a challenge to keep the same colour scheme throughout the painting. http://www.devonartist.co.uk/
