As a Londoner myself (although I left a good few years ago) I can recall those early morning scenes and this really brings back memories - super painting - thanks for posting it

I worked in the Oxford Circus area of Central London for many years. The streets were busy all year round, but at Xmas the crowds caused madness on the streets. There was however, a quiet hour or so at the beginning of a winters day when you could venture out for a paper and a coffee in relative peace. London is a lovely place at that time of day.
