Hi Paul, Is this Sliema Malta or Gozo?. I am soon going to live on Gozo, at Sannat. Do you live thereabouts already or was it a holiday study?. I like your works, getting started on watercolour myself after two years with pastels, so would be interested in meeting up if you are living on the island. Hi Chris, thanks for the nice comments. Glad you liked the gallery. I live in England but had a recent holiday to Malta. Sliema is in Malta, very close to Valletta. I didn't make the time to get to Gozo although I hear it is a beautiful island. I hope your move to Gozo goes well and if you have a spare room in your new home you might suddenly find lots of watercolourists voluteering to visit to help you with your new medium!

Hang on Studio Wall

This was once the entrance to a grand townhouse. Today it is 6 ft off the ground and hides an open air carpark from the street. It is nothing more than a facade with just enough interior wall to keep it upright. However, when I walked past the sun caught what was left of the interior and it looked as though someone had turned on the lights and breathed life into the old place.
