I'm quite chuffed with this one. I starting painting with transparent watercolours six/seven months ago and I have an awful lot to learn. I think the column and steps have come out well. I think there's a lesson learned in how simple to paint they were. I've struggled with shadows in my paintings to date but they seem to be OK in this one. There are things about the background I'd change, but I'm pleased with myself today.
