Very atmospheric rendition Paul, I like it a lot! I don't live far from Crummock Water & have seen most of its moods. I'm the opposite to yourself - I prefer to work in acrylic & struggle with watercolour.

Thanks very much Robert, Sarah and Fiona. Although I do find Acrylics hard work at the moment (particularly on colour mixing - just doesn't work the same as watercolour) at least you can paint over your mistakes.

I really struggle with Acrylic, having started using them around 2 years ago. I keep returning to Watercolour which I feel much more comfortable with. This is a copy of a Watercolour I did which is in my Watercolour portfolio here.
