Staithes from Cowbar.

Really nice use of colour to describe all the little houses. This is a lovely muted painting which hints at the timelessness of this scene. The boats are a nice touch which help to move your eye away from the houses and around the painting.

Agree with the other comments, you have made a good effort with this, I've often thought about painting this view but been put off by all the cottages!

It looks just like the Staithes I have visited on several occasions. I love the Yorkshire coast and you have captured the atmosphere really well
