It's a great idea to take a small portion of a building and develop it into a painting. I love this approach Pat and the stonework is really interesting, well done indeed.

Oil on Canvas 50 x 40 cm. I added chalk to give a bit of texture, though not obvious on the photo. Painted mostly outside along he side of the Minster which you can see is part ruins. This is just a tiny part of the Minster, a huge church for a small town!
