I like hats and coats. This would make a very nice still life painting. Well done.

Very good, I like how you have done the garment folds.

Thankyou Jeannette and Carole it was very early on in my art schooling...but for some reason I kept it to me it's neat and tidy

Hi Patsy, This reminds me of one of my first drawing classes but the subject was 3 tall wooden stools muddled up together, I'll look it out when I have a few spare minutes. The next exercise just happened to be a piece of brown paper screwed up and crinkled and thrown on to the table. The instruction was, "draw that". It was a really taxing but useful task. I have never thrown any of my efforts away, they reside in cheap portfolio cases in my shed which is nicely lined, dry and pest proof. It's sometimes good to look back and consider how much I have changed and consider the ways in which I have improved.

this feels almost draftsmanlike to me; your grip on perspective is so much better than mine, Patsy!

Hi, Patsy. Have you been doing much painting recently? I like this drawing very much.

A very stiff early class drawing Pencil on Cartridge Paper...very new to art I went to night school with my sister who is an artist...I was not a natural artist but a working nurse...but with the help of very patient(sometimes) tutors I managed in the end to get A's
