like this a lot lovely contours and aeriel perspective.

This is lovely Patsy. Not too much and the subject is one of my favourites, it is a dream of mine to do a collection of trees but is just a dream as I want to do it right, so saving up and doing research in my mind towards it. You mentioned in that picture of the chinese painting, that you left it for days and days for x amount of reasons, but remember, you have to "live with" a picture for the duration of while you are painting it, so remember to not "abandon" it for so long that you lose the momentum of inspiration. I find this happens if i dont complete something within a relatively short space of time, i always aim to finish within days, otherwise i dont tackle it at all. so ..live with your paintings, love them and dream them into life, the above is clearly something you enjoyed :-) well done :-)

Hi Patsy this is a lovely pastel. The colours and the composition make this very atmospheric. When will we see one of your chinese paintings? What made you try "chinese" out? Do you still go to courses?

This is a very thought out painting the colours you used certainly enhanced the subject. I think it's brilliant. Well Done!!!

This is just how I imagine parts of Oz to be. Dry and golden. What was the season it looks very much like Autumn. Perhaps I'm wrong though.

Patsy, thanks for all your wonderful comments. I particularly like your pastel landscape. I like paintings of trees as you probably have noticed. Good luck and happy painting.

A lovely picture. I can feel the heat. Many thanks for your nice comments re SB8.

Hi Patsy, I didn't know these ones were here I just stumbled on them on the side bar, your two landscapes are so making me home sick, I like this one the best :), has that purple tinge that W.A gets in the sky. love it.
