Looking good so far, lovely colours, hope to see the completed painting soon.

Love the colours in this, looking good so far keep it up, can't wait to see the finished painting.

Just having a browse through your gallery , the colours in this one are great, .

Wow Patsy... this is looking really nice, I like the wet into wet shrubs.... look forward to the finished piece.

great colours patsy, love your bush and the distant hills...can't wait to see it finished!

Hi Patsy, keep forgetting to pop in. The foreground is really taking shape and the horizon is way back there. It's looking good. I can see the improvement. Class is doing you good isn't it? It was always there just needed a little push to get it back.

I love the colours cant wait to see it when finnished, must trie water colours, little bit nervous though, as I have never had any teaching so would not know where to start, but do love your gallery.

Hi Patsy..finally found your work!...looking good! I gather this is çourse work' so you are studying somewhere? If so, how long have you been at it? I also teach, so have a genuine interest! Are you still developing your style..or still experementing with technique? I tend to jump around a bit, playing with impressionism at the moment, although because I love to paint the Australian landscape, I tend to lean more to realism, I guess. About to take a giant step...portraiture! Studying with a great portrait teacher at the moment, and my aim is to eventually enter for the Archibald Prize one day!..had a teacher/friend once, who told me...an artist is not really an artist until he/she paints a portrait!......not true, but always niggled at me!

Hi Patsy...The colours could only be Australia....Keep up the good work.....Steve

Hi Patsy this also looks very good..

Watercolour, Pen and Ink on Saunders Waterford 300gpm Not. This is my project for this term in class...I don't work on it at home because I like to have some advice from our Tutor before I commit myself to some colours...It is a work in progress...I became a bit bogged down last week and was advised to go in with some ink by Tutor to give me some landmarks which it did...I know where I'm going with it now...the hills really are that lovely violet colour...I used Art Spectrum Acrylic Ink, Violet to get the strength of colour...It should recede when I get some more greens into the painting...the colours of the Kimberly region are very different from the Pilbara region
