Fabulous, looking forward to more

I like this alot it's unusual and slightly odd looking. There's something northern about it almost Nordic

You've got a good style going here Jo

Really good Jo, look forward to future work.

I really like the composition and - great tension/energy within the frame with the diagonal and horizontal lines.

Thank you very much everyone for such interesting comments. This piece was carried out as part of a body of work based on the North Aberdeenshire coast, so Michaels remark seems especially pertinent

As part of a body of work I was carrying out pre-Covid I did a spell of printing - this was my first big linocut - thoroughly enjoyed it! After languishing in a portfolio for far too long it at last saw the light of day yesterday when I at last had an opportunity to discuss my ideas with a local artist who is also a printer. What a revelation when the possibility of going into colour was mentioned...so watch this space in 2025! Original linocut © 2019
