This is the delightful view with which one is greeted as the lane climbs the rise towards the little hamlet of Beal, where one sees what are now some holiday cottages to the right and the big old farm opposite, before the land starts to fall away and the road carries on down to the causeway and Lindisfarne. Painted in gouache on paper
