It's another lovely painting Jo ... you are prolific!

You have such an appealing style and your use of gouache is so skilful. Never tried this medium but your results have inspired me to have a go. Also love the painting of the sparrow but my iPad wasn’t allowing me to comment on it.

Gouache is a lovely medium, Carole, and very economical. Certainly worth trying, although it takes a bit of getting used to! I was taught that if the paint is used to the thickness of double cream, then you can overpaint with impunity from light to dark and vice versa, but only once the preceding layer is completely dry.

Heather, all these current postings are the accumulation of many years' work! Just decided to get organised and get all those images out there!
