This calf was orignally photographed in a field located on a farm along US1 South near Raleigh, North Carolina in the USA. I painted this in acrylics to capture the brightness of the yellow flowers in the meadow and the soft white hair of this calf. Its as if this calf was thinking: I cannot tell a lie to you; I wish you all would eat more chicken, I truely do! I cant pretend to tell you, with any fancy words, I simply want you all, to eat more of them tasty birds!
