Bluebell by Pamela Schaard
"Bluebell" has seen better days; she was moored for many years just outside the Stour Sailing Club in Manningtree, Essex, England on the river Stour. The boat was wooden and the bottom had rotted so there was big hole in it; she filled with water and mud every time the tide came and went. This painting was a tribute to a nice man named Tony whom I met while visiting this area; he passed away this past year and around this same time Bluebell broke up and is no longer there.
