Very effective when you stand back from it I imagine. A touch of Seurat about it or Pissaro perhaps.

I wonder how many millions of brush strokes are in this painting; it is pointillism, I should say: and very effective.

This painting took ages to complete. I used a small brush throughout to try to capture the atmosphere. It is painted on a 4ft.x 4ft. canvas and now hangs in our dining room ! It went through a lot of stages and colour schemes but I hope I got there in the end.
