Cornfield with fence

I like this. I saw a field just like this in June in the pouring rain and took some photos with the intention of doing a painting some time. I know what you mean about finishing. Someone said to me - if you are just fiddling then it is time to stop - at least to give it a break and then come back at least a week later and look at it with fresh eyes. My only comment would be that it lacks something dark and a bit contrasty - both in terms of tone and visually. It is a little bit same-y all over.
