I like indian yellow and have used this as a wash over this composition as I went along.Approx20x16 on canvas,I always try to paint oils on canvas.It is reasonablly cheap if you avoid Art shops.It feels better as a surface as well.Good brushes are so vital as well.I remember someone saying to me once you get the best sound from a violin if you have a good bow.Its the same with painting,you get the best results with a good brush.Never skimp on brushes ,you can always tell.Poor brushes are frustrating. Here endeth the lesson. ! ! ! "Poppies"
