My Alice was a fishing vessel. Intended to fish for sprats. Built by Charles Kirby 1907. Painted using Stephen Coates Spearhead brushes No. 6,8 10 and mini-hake. Palette, Cobalt Blue, Cadmium Red Pale, Burnt Sienna, Indian Red and Raw Sienna. White Japanese watercolour used to paint on numbers and letters on boat. Mostly wet in wet but a few dry techniques also used.
