Lovely picture Denise.

Lovely portrait Denise.

Mi-Teintes paper? I have never got on with it but you have used it beautifully. Much more than a sketch, absolutely super.

Nice Portrait.... Luv the pearls and the eyes... Nose needs a little fixing.. Face proportions are great.. She's a beautiful lady...

Very good sketch Denise of a difficult angled pose.

Great sketch, full of emotion

Super work, Denise!

I think this is super Denise. I think it is really well done indeed and up there with your best. Lovely pastel work.

Your comments are very much appreciated, thanks Paul, Sylvia, Stephen, Sarah, Collette, Eric, Russell, Tessa, Heather, Coral, David. Anne and David. Collette, I used a Daler Rowney light grey pastel paper. I've not tried the one you mentioned but I might get some. I have Clairefontaine Pastelmat, I'm not to fussed on it.

Some very good practice indeed Denise.

Beautifully done Denise.

Lovely work Denise. For reference, Jackson’s art do a pack of sample pieces of many different pastel papers that you might find useful to try.

Great practice work Denise, it can never be underestimated, I should do more myself! 😂

A good portrait indeed, Denise.

Lovely Denise and the eyes are wonderful.

Well done Denise, you just get better and better. I like the idea of a green underpainting, several illustrators I admire use that method, never tried it myself. A great result for you.

Such a lovely pose and expression Denise. 🎄🎄🎄🎄

This is beautiful Denise

Many thanks John, Gorge, Alan, Spencer, Fiona, Jiri, Diane, Lewis, Carole, Rachel and Christine. Thanks for that Alan, I shall order some.
