Superb still life Denise your grapes as all your fruit look delicious. Great composition.

Wow Denise this is absolutely brilliant and so beautifully done. The glaze on the potter is excellent, and the fruits look so good . I don’t know how you achieve the shine but it’s certainly beautiful done.

Lovely painting Denise, colours and light excellent. The one thing that sticks out for me (and I hope you don't mind me saying) is that the perspective of the earthenware vase is a little wrong . The viewpoint is pretty much head on so the elliptical top of the vase needs to be flatter.

It’s pastel, isn’t it, Denise? You can easily correct that perspective, elipses are notoriously hard. Often you move your position during the painting process and you throw everything out of kilter ( that’s my own experience). Otherwise, you’re going great guns with your progress

Love your diversity Denise. The fruit is amazing with lovely highlights. The technical things like ellipses just take time and patience.

Denise I am an expert on ellipses, you can put money on me never getting them right! Apparently, once you get them, you get them, I haven’t succeeded to date…… my own fault for not practicing. Despite the above, you have a wonderfully composed and executed still life here. I particularly love the palette you’ve chosen.

I was just looking at your WIP, it’s so frustrating when you feel something is wrong and can’t quite work it out. Apart from wonky ellipses (🤣) this is a lovely painting, the fruits are so juicy and the pottery glaze is good.
