Yes, it's a royal someone, but I'm afraid the younger ones just merge into one face and name for me. I see Paul thinks "Kate Middleton", and that seems right; but I don't remember what title she holds. I can tell it's a good likeness - I seem to remember a royal portrait of the same person (?) which I thought very ordinary: but having painted a couple of portraits lately, I'm far less critical of others' attempts at getting a likeness: it's not easy, is it...? Especially with younger faces; you've got so many more reference points with us wrinklies....

Thought I would try and have a go at capturing this ladies likeness. Only you can tell me if I've remotely succeeded. I spent about 2 hours using graphite. HB, B, 4B and 6B.
