Beautifully painted. A gorgeous sheen on the fruit and the reflections are almost transparent - brilliant!

Interesting approach using a dark background here… lts worked fairly well I’d say Denise, perhaps a touch more ‘modelling’, particularly on the right hand fruit, and increase the colour a touch!

I really like the shadowed effect of still life work like this Denise……never been brave enough to give it a go.

Thanks Coral and Fiona, these would be easy for you to do. Just takes a bit of practice and blending. I do these after I've finished painting or drawing when the light has gone and I want to keep practising at something. Something that is quick. you can do these in 20 to 30 minutes with practice.
