America’s Liberty is not perfect as there was no liberty for people of colour then in America because of the enslavement of African Americans was still lawful in some parts of America then. Since the abolition of slavery and the enforcement of integration, there is no equity for all Americans. The killing of George Floyd and other killings of black people made me think figuratively that America’s Liberty is not only cracked but Broken which is the title of this painting - The Broken Liberty.
