Like the limited palette, Diana. Nice broad treatment, and a real feeling of urgency....kittens are so demanding on the mother cat. Good interpretation.+

Thank you. I wasn't sure about the colour of the blanket; have now washed it over with a dark blue very thin to tone it down.

It has a very decorative quality to it.... Lovely intimate feel. Did you once post some sketches of this? or was it another batch of kits?

Lovely and very sweet painting with the aaah factor. This is a bit different to your usual style and I like it. It has a boldness which is very striking. Love the little pink nose on Mum! I can see how tricky the blanket was to do, but the folds are beautifully done.

A lovely little domestic scene of mum and her kittens. Beautiful.

Yes Sylvia, I did a version of these cats a few years ago without any background and liked the poses so much and the interplay of the blacks and greys I decided to do it again but this time "grounded".

A very nice picture..You have a good style Diana...Steve

Lovely painting Diana, I love how you have painted the fur, with beautiful shades of grey. The blanket folds are good too. I like the stripey kitty in the middle !

A most unusual painting depicting the love of a mother for her children.......can see why you painted this one. Thank you for the comment on Betty's "Roses for mother"......very kind of you.

A beautiful scene beautifully painted, very well done Diana.
