The stalker

You have certainly caught the stalker attitude Diana. I love the blades of grass and leaves opposing the tiger's stripes.

A very difficult image to make work Diana, but I think you've managed it......Well done....Steve.

Thank you Steve, it was very difficult to find muscles and shoulders under the grass; still not sure I got them right at all.

I like the fact that you've not painted your tiger bright orange, because they rarely are - and would stand out like a big bright balloon if they were. Saw a film where a large tiger simply appeared out of the long grass - one minute nothing, then a screen full of tiger: this might have been the very beast. Any large cat is hard to paint: and I wouldn't have attempted to in transparent watercolour, so very well done.
