This caught my eye straight away, great colours Nancy.

Beautiful colours, and I like the style.

It’s a super striking painting Nancy. I see what you mean about the whites and left side but I’m no watercolourist so wouldn’t presume to offer advice! Unless a light wash to soften?

Thank you Dylan and Tessa. It is a new style for me with this one. I think I want to soften the whites, thanks for confirming Tessa; when I figure it out I will change that side a bit. (This is going into a "bird" themed show next week.)

I love the soft merging washes of colour, this is lovely as it is, Nancy.

Gorgeous! Maybe soften very gently with a cotton bud? Love it!

Appreciate your kind comments Thalia and Marjorie and Carole.:)

Gorgeous work Nancy! I love the balance of soft and hard edges, and the exuberant colours.

Thanks for taking a look at my art Emma and for your lovely comment!

A watercolor on hot press paper. 22" x 15". Started it all wet into wet and afer it dried added a few details. Used some masking for the whites, feel they are a bit harsh? any suggestions on the back? wanted loose, howver left side is more rigid.
