Totland Bay And Fort Albert From Headon Warren

Totland Bay And Fort Albert From Headon Warren

I used to play there as a child; there was an old fort there once, too - until the completely brainless Freshwater Parish Council pulled it down.... Last time I went up there at the wrong time of year, and the heather wasn't out - so it's good to see this painting and the way you've captured both the shape and the colour.

Love how you have captured the mix of rock, heather, and grass in the foreground and I can see why it's a walkers paradise. Beautifully done.

This is stunning and the colours are just beautiful.

Artisan Water-mixable oils on stretched cotton canvas. Headon Warren is paradise for walkers, the wonderful view over the western tip of the Island and the famous chalk stacks 'The Needles'is spectacular but when the heather is in flower I particularly enjoy this view over Totland Bay.
