Ir's a Murray Monet! I wonder if the Impressionists would have used acrylic - they valued the blending capability of oils - but then, they didn't have the choice, so we shall never know. This is an impressive version of a classic painting, either way.

This is a painting executed in Acrylics. I am fairly certain that had the Impressionists had Acrylics to work with then most of their paintings would have been painted in that medium! It is a great medium for building up layers of colour very quickly. This stretched canvas is 41 x 24 cm.
