Peonies in Matthews jug

Comments

They are so delicate looking beautifully painted.

But a beautiful painting as a result!

Probably worth the headache and sunburn though - in fact, even though it's not my headache and sunburn, it was certainly worth it. Where a hat with a good visor next time, if you didn't this: a green visor is good, a Panama hat the next best thing. And make sure you have plenty of water to hand - I'm not sure how to avoid sunburn, though.... other than by the application of creams, and that's not exactly a spur of the moment decision, if the inspiration is upon you.

"Wear", obviously..... sun must be getting to me, too.

Beautiful, well worth it!

Radiant, Mo.

It was worth all the suffering Mo. Love the radiance of your palette and that beautiful blue jug.

The sunlight just shines through your painting. Lovely.

Beautiful, love the soft pinks, so full of light.

Beautifully painted. Love the palette and the bold shapes.

Wonderful painting!

Thank you all for your lovely comments

I had to try and paint the last of the Peonies from our garden. Talk about suffering for your art 🙄 I got a blinding headache looking at the bright light and sunburn into the bargain 😂
