I know this market well. Lovely watercolour - lots of interesting and colourful detail, but you have avoided being too fussy. Not easy to do, so well done.

I absolutely love this place. I was brought up in Oxford and my mother is now in a residential home there. This one and your painting of Wolvercote bring back many happy memories so thank you for that. Lovely watercolours.

This is a watercolour of the famous Covered Market that was officially opened on 1 November 1774 and is still active today. Located in Oxford, England, the Covered Market was started in response to a general wish to clear 'untidy, messy and unsavoury stalls' from the main streets of central Oxford.
