A particularly good watercolour. I like the subject a lot, old buildings can look so good when painted well.

The range of greens in the woodland behind the mix of buildings attracted me to do this painting from a photo for a good friend of mine who lives In High Lane Stockport. There was a lot of wet in wet to get the colour to diffuse and mix of blues with yellow and golden ochre finally got the result I wanted for the woodland area. Loved doing the large barn with the metal sheeting.
