I really like the combination of pastels with the linen support. The soft buff colour of the unbleached linen definitely adds something.

I'm running out of superlatives Michele, yet another piece of the highest quality. All four in this 'series' have been truly inspirational - I must attempt more full length portraits. Is the girl someone you know? Do you draw these from life or use photographs - hope you don't think I'm being to nosey.

Thank you Russell for your comment. This particular young lady worked at my local deli for a short while - I knew as soon as I saw her I wanted to draw her! I had a few hours with her - so I was able to take many photos using various set ups
