I like this Michael, good composition and the buildings are very well handled. The island with the tree in the road does block things somewhat. But what can you do if that's how the village is?

Thanks all - Stephen, yes it is difficult trying to find a good composition- I am afraid too much innovation is not an option as these works are aimed at potential purchasers who will recognise or have some association with the scene and will expect it to be reasonably accurate. I try to work as loose as I can without compromising too much the actual location - sometimes a difficult tightrope.

Ah, accuracy? I missed out a row of three telephone boxes from a Manchester street scene Michael, fortunately no one asked me where they'd gone! Lovely watercolour here and do like it!
