I really like this Michael it is very well drawn with all those interesting angles and the receding steps. Figures too! You have captured the atmosphere of a cool Italian courtyard beautifully. Your client will be delighted I'm sure.

I've watched this painting materialize and it is a very beautiful piece of work - the photo here doesn't do justice to it.

Thanks to you all. I agree Frank that the photo isn't the best representation but I find that's the case with most paintings. I do play around with Picasa to try to get the nearest possible copy but the options to adjust are limited - for example you can't dull down if the colours on screen are too garish - not that that's the case here..
