Pots

You have the pot shapes spot on Michael. When I try it, I can never get two sides of pot the same. I love the green/yellow tinge of damp moss on them really effective. Great realistic colours. ps. Thanks for your kind comments on my painting.

The shape of the large Ali Baba pot is super,as Carole says not easy to do, and alltogether a good strong composition, I think you should do more still lifes!

I like this Michael. You've worked a lot of colour into the painting. Some of your paintings have very dark strong shadows and if you do have another go another day a bright light source might make some interesting cast shadows over all of those curves and rounded edges.

I agree with the above, Michael, please give us more of this. The pots are stunning!

I love your pots Michael, they are very well drawn and painted and caught my eye straight away when I opened the page. I find painting pots very satisfying and have done " hundreds". I wish you could give me some of yours to paint, I have done all mine. Well done!!
