I like the colours in this, especially the touches of red. And the suggestion of texture - it's hard to tell on the screen. It does suggest the sea but it can be whatever or wherever the mind takes you.

My first thought was the sea as well, Michael. Some beautiful touches, and nicely textured.

Coming from the forum I must say this is a very attractive abstract. It should sell. Everybody can read his own interpretation into it. Is it a seascape, a skyline or does it really matter? It looks good and that´s it.

Thanks all. Pat - yes I hope it will sell - got to get the gallery to accept it first but hopeful.

Love this, interesting to find my own interpretation Michael.

This is an interesting painting Michael, I don't usually 'get' abstracts and what I'm drawn to is the shapes and colours rather than the supposed subject. But this has great colours and I can see something.......a light drenched town of white buildings with a stormy sea and sky.

I think I like this one best. To me, it looks like a waterfall. I think this is what's interesting and intriguing about abstracts, all the different ways it can be seen. Nice one.

Very fine balance between abstract and realistic effect.

Beautifully atmospheric, live the dreamlike feel of the piece, Michael.

It's great that different people see different things - and that's how it should be. Thanks all

Started out as pure abstract but seem to take on a life of its own and ended as a sort of seascape - frame size 18ins by 14ins.
