ive had a few more sales in the last couple of days which always makes me feel better about myself. theres something special though i think about the art of portraiture, to create what seems like a living person. this portrait is unfinished and it needed much labour to get the expression correct, not that the ladys expression is so difficult to achieve technically but that i just need more practise at painting faces in general.
