I’m really enjoying these drawings. They would look wonderful framed and hung together

Nicely done

Always a delight to see the beautiful way you use pen and ink on your Lovely creations Mia.

There is something about a withering flower isn’t there Mia. It’s lovely despite its condition.

Like it Mia, the slight wash adds so much to the finished drawing.

Agree with Diana. These pen and limited wash artwork should be framed in a group

Thank you all very, very much for your encouraging comments. Sadly, the ink is not lightfast, so: impossible to frame and display those drawings without fading in a few weeks. I should have to make them again with waterproof ink and watercolour paints for the wash. Maybe... I don't know yet. Thanks for the lovely advice :) Mia

Another lovely drawing Mia. I quite like the idea that these will not last long, it seems to fit with the subject! On the other hand perhaps it’s time for some new ink. 🙂

Thanks Tessa. Although I have several lightfast inks, I still prefer the nib-fountain pen with the Quink Ink because it is so smooth on the paper. Filled with waterproof and lightfast ink it could be ruined. I maybe have a look at my 'normal' dip pens to use with indian ink.

I love the special shape of withered roses. This time, I used a Stabilo Point 88 watersoluble marker (immediately in ink) and gave it a wash with clear water. Size A4. What do you think? All comments are very welcome :) Mia
