Hollyhocks are a lovely flower, but they do not like being picked they start to drop very quickly. you have done a lovely sketch of them. will this be turned into a painting?? well done Mia.

The word "elegant" always comes to mind when I see your drawings, Mia, and this is no exception. Great use of lines and varied marks to convey depth and tone . Superb work!

Gorgeous work Mia. Tao is right, this would make a lovely painting.

Another one of your "little lovelies" Mia.

Good spontaneous work Mia, I always dive straight in without guide lines, they just inhibit your work.

Beautiful study Mia, from the full blown flower to the tight buds.

Lovely work Mia :)

Thank you all so very much for your positive comments. Tao and Margaret: I don't know about the painting because I picked the flower, put it in a vase and made the drawing. It is gone now and I didn't take a picture of it. But there was a storm overhere today and again there are other damaged flowers. Maybe I can paint those.

Thank you very much Gudrun. I appreciate.

Lovely little study Mia!

Many thanks for your kind remarks, Satu.
