Sweet little coven you have created, Mia they look a creative bunch by the look of them, and what a sweety of a husband to pose for you. Nice clean picture :)

I'm trying to imagine 'your little witches' and your 'model'...LOL.. Seriously though, this is a very nice and interesting pen and watercolour. As well as the flowers and figures, the leaves of the orchid are particularly well painted. Is it a book illustration?

Thanks very much CA and Louise. No, Louise, it was for a local competition for the +55 (!!!!) senior citizens. I didn't win but it was fun to do it. My hubby and I had a lot of fun while doing the "modelling" hahaha

+55...a senior citizen :( I refuse to be a s.c, until I'm at least in my 80's :)

Oh, this is delightful Mia. Your leaves and flowers are beautifully depicted and of course your little people.

I've always admired your orchid paintings, Mia, and this one is no exception. It's such a difficult flower to compose well in a painting and you always manage to make them look so elegant in their simplicity!

Thank you very much Avril and Seok for your positive comments. I like orchids very much (as you can see in my work). CA, the +55 competition was organised by the Senior Council open to anyone over 55 and I saw it as an opportunity to show my work. There is a saying overhere: "you are only as old as you feel" and I don't consider myself as a Senior!!! (not yet)

Lovely imaginative work, Mia. Super drawing and so delicately and beautifully painted.

This is beautiful Mia, you are so imaginative.

Thank you very much Thea and Carole. Your comments are much appreciated.

What a wonderful piece of whimsy! Beautifully drawn and painted.

Thank you very much Gudrun.

Just love this, so delicate.

Thanks Karyl.

A pen and watercolour of my dear little witches playing around and having a good time. Size: 60 x 50cm. For the different poses, my hubby had to put on his morning-gown and play model for me (lol) :) Mia
