Many thanks to you Malcolm, Fiona, Emma, Carole and Marjorie for your encouraging comments. I do like hollyhocks so much, I can't stop painting and drawing them... Many years ago my daughter braught back some seeds from her trip to Denmark and they are spreading all over my garden. I love it!!!!

Out of my comfort zone: watercolour and no "pen and wash" this time. I was fascinated by the colours. Watercolour using Permanen Rose for the flowers and Terry Harrison's greens for the buds. Size A4. All comments are very welcome :) Mia
