Such a difficult subject Mia, well done.

Very beautiful.....so simple yet so expressive.

Agree with Avril - your lines are so expressive, Mia. It's beautiful indeed.

Very well drawn, especially the thumb. the whole drawing is simple and expressive.

Delightful Mia!! beautifully drawn.

It's great when you keep your hand in ART!

Very much like the clean , simple line Mia.

that is a funny coincidence Mia! very similar composition as well, nice work :)

Mia you are so clever with your drawings

Lovely drawing Mia

I've been doing a series of life drawing classes and I find hands and feet incredibly difficult to do so I admire your talent in drawing this so perfectly straight off in ink. Well done Mia.

Very expressive Mia. Well done.

You make it look so easy to do, which I know that it isn't :)

Wow, so many lovely comments. Thank you all so very much. In those days I was drawing, sketching and painting all day long and every day, so it became such a routine to do those things.... Don't know if I still could do it, maybe after a few days of sketching every day. I hope it is like swimming and cycling, once you can do it, you always can and never forget.

Not an easy subject, gracefully executed, even more difficult when its your own. Lonely drawing.

Thanks Carol Anne, hands (my own) have always been one of my favourite subjects. You always have a drawing subject "at hand" if you don't know what to sketch!

I imagine not such an easy subject as you have made it look Mia. Wonderful drawing.

Well done Mia. I must try something like this and practice drawing!

Thank you very much, Fiona and Carole; I always appreciate comments from such great artists as you both are!

Great work Mia even way back then!

Thank you Ros.

Seeing the hand by Lyzanne, I immediately looked into my archives portfolio and found this pen drawing, made in 1963!!! Isn't that a coincidence? This was a sketch of my own hand, immediately in ink using a nib pen (no pencil drawing before). Thanks for having a look.
