Bless you Mia - I am really flattered - and I really do love your minimal drawing - right up my street - have you got any more?

Thanks Michael and Kirstie for your quick response. I just saw that someone posted already 3 works while I was still strugling with my forum thread. I hope this is not going to be a MP. I think I have some more, Michael, I am going to search my earlier cards. Wait and see! :) Mia

What a beautiful reminder of a life changing event Mia.

Beautiful drawing Mia

What a lovely idea and something to keep for ever as a reminder of a happy time in your life.

Another very classy card Mia.

I too thought this was one of Michael's! It's beautiful, Mia - so simple yet so classically elegant and it's a very special way to commemorate such a cherished event.

So little says so much. beautiful

This is so lovely - it reminds me of Picasso's 'Peace' bird. So understated yet powerful.

So simply beautiful Mia!

You and Michael should go into business together, this is adorable.

Lovely idea Mia!

I also thought it was one of Michaels ! It's beautiful Mia, a lovely image for a special time .

Thank you ALL so very much for taking the time to post a comment. It was only after watching Michaels works that I looked into my "archive" portfolio and family albums, remembering that in the 60s and 70s I produced similar things. I feel very honoured to be compared to michaels work!! :) Mia

Says all you need! Very beautiful.

Thanks Avril for the lovely compliment. I appreciate.

Such a simple but eye catching piece of drawing Mia. must hold special memories for yourself, like this one very much,

This is the "Birth Announcement Card" I designed when our eldest daughter was born. I dedicate this to Michael because with his beautiful cartoons, he reminded me of this "less is more" technique I used to love (and still do). All comments are very welcome!
