Hello Max. This is really beautiful,I can see that storm a coming in.Super ,soft misty colours . Just great.

Great atmospheric painting, Max, and how lovely to see one of yours on the gallery. I think your scanner bleaches the colours out on your paintings as I imagine the actual colours are a little stronger. It is a real problem with reproducing paintings. I have solved it by using Photoshop which lets me bring the colours back to what they should be. Howeever, back to your painting - great simple composition which is most effective. Really well done.

Thank you Sylvia, I really appreciate your back'up.....glad you liked it will try to do another one soon xx Glad you liked the composition Thea......your comment's are most welcome every time.....this painting needed adjustment because it was to big for the scanner......we also have a have site like the Photoshop which we use to enhance the paintings. xx

I like this delicate watercolour. The sky washes are so good, certainly looks like rain is coming on those distant hills.

Thank you Carole for your kind comments, i like getting the nudge from experts like you.

Max have you ever tried photographing your paintings? Then play with them in Picassa ! a freebie from Google? You can crop them and play around and the colours are usually better, also a lot of my stuff is quite big and will not go into an A4 scanner so I have to photograph them... a suggestion.

Thank you for your advice Sylvia, Betty already has the Picassa site & uses it quite a bit, but this one must have been overlooked, will see if we can enhance it a bit more & give it more colour also will take a photo first & get the whole painting in. Thank you again for your valid advice.
