Lovely colourful painting - definitely more colour. However, it does all seem to be mostly in the mid tone, except for the areas of white paper. I think possibly that you would achieve more impact if you injected some small areas of dark here and there as otherwise there is a tendency for the painting to look a little bland. Just little touches can make a huge difference. I think you are on the right track with this painting - just a little tweak needed to show it's full potential. Nice work though all the same.

Thank you Thea for your good advice.....the boats need a little more work done on them like shadows also the sand.

I like this Max I think it is you...I love your restraint in watercolour which lets face it is what watercolour is all about...leaving that tantalising piece of white paper...I would love to know the mix of the red and brown colour I really like it...if it's a secret that's fine

Conversation is best understood with a thoughtful silence between the color of words flowing with intent. As musical notes are the playful shadows upon a rhapsody of white. I like your cheery palette :-)

Your comments are very much appreciated Rod, Thank you.
